MAKA Foundation started with 3 original founder members in 1979,
Wayne Salmon (Smiley), Joe Salmon (Skippy) , Tony Campbell (T.C) , as time moved on we gathered interest in the community .


People wanted to get into the sound, some of them were Sunhil Sharma (Briggy Mix) , Richard Clark (Rugged Richy) , 
Terry Rodgers (Digniterry). The members that still remain today are Smiley ,T.C , Briggy Mix , Digniterry, Rugged Richy.


Skippy is still a founder member & is living in Wales but is still involved.


We have a great relationship with each other like a (MAKA FAMILY) , Deminico Picariello engineer and speaker box designer, so many people have supported us from the beginning and we have also influenced alot of youth on the way to were we are today one in particular Craig (FADE) David, he mentioned MAKA FOUNDATION on his first album (Born to do it ) he was one of our gifted youth, a great DJ / Singer song writer along side Aaron Soul who was part of (Junior MAKA) in the 90’s. Alistair Dodger MC and stage entertainer.


We Are a strong collective and very dedicated to MAKA FOUNDATION now and forever……….Tony Campbell (T.C) & Wayne Salmon (Smiley)
